E205 - In today’s podcast, Joanna encourages Canadians to get out to vote on April 28, in the most important Canadian election ever. Joanna talks about the power of people and lawful protests.
Joanna also reads an excerpt from Selena Robin’s novel, Once Upon a Kiss. After giving up her dream of becoming a movie star, dancer, and singer, Selena decided that her second-in-line dream was to pursue her passion for writing. She writes eclectic stories with heroines and heroes who always fly by the seat of their pants without a safety net and somehow manage to untangle themselves from the mess and conflicts she’s plunged them into. Selena’s critically acclaimed work has been described as genre-defying, witty, humorous, suspenseful, romantic, and sexy.
Selena is a self-professed chocolate guru and international unknown author who stunt doubles as a cool Mom, Nana (kicking major butt with her grandson on Fortnite) and all around bad-ass.
